About Meem
Meem is an initiative of MeemLift Foundation, Inc. (“MeemLift”, “we”). By creating an account or giving through Meem you agree to these terms.
Who can join
You must be 18 or older and live in a state where Meem is open. Each household has one monthly commitment.
Your monthly gift
You choose your monthly gift. The minimum is shown on the gift page before you confirm. Your gift repeats every month until you cancel.
You can pause, change or cancel at any time using the link in your receipt email, without calling anyone.
You pay on a secure page run by Zeffy. MeemLift never sees your card or bank details.
Where gifts go
Every gift goes into one national fund. MeemLift's board decides where grants go each month, and no gift is held for any one city or state. Gifts are unrestricted. You cannot designate a gift to a particular cause or place. MeemLift does not collect zakat. Please do not count these gifts as zakat; pay your zakat through another channel.
Receipts and taxes
You will get one receipt for each gift. Your receipt shows what you gave. We cannot give tax advice, so please ask a tax adviser about deductions. Points are not a tax-deductible amount. Only the person who made a gift may claim it.
Akhirah points and your circle
Akhirah points reflect the giving you and those you invited have done. They do not measure reward or anyone's nearness to Allah; that is known only to Him. Points and stations have no cash value. They cannot be redeemed, bought, sold or transferred, and they bring no perks. You send invitations yourself, from your own email, phone or WhatsApp. Nobody is paid or rewarded for inviting.
Your account
Keep your password private. We may pause an account that is used to commit fraud or to harm other people.
